The perfect little (but not so little) Black dress!

Yep, I do like my LBD’s to fit and skim in all the right places. 
Fabric weight plays a huge role in nailing this aspect. 
As does cut. 
But even classic pieces deserve a touch of ‘edgy’ to make them come alive - and this my friends is exactly what I look for!

The design of this dress is genius though.
Let’s break it down:
The PERFECT sleeve length (so many sleeves finish at the wrong spot for us girls who no longer have perfect arms). Fabric: Viscose/Jersey (the word ‘Jersey’ often freaks me out - I imagine instant CLING) but the viscose element balances this beautifully, the combination also makes the dress super comfy.
Length: Classic elegance, means knee length for me. 
This dress will be a little worker-bee, so the hi-lo hemline adds the touch of edgy I always look for.
Cut: V-neckline works a treat for girl with a fuller bust, but will also be delightful under blazers through A/W with the addition of a scarf or super cute neckerchief.
And finally, down one side there is a nifty little side tie. You can do up for added shape (like I have) or leave it free.
